"Houdini" (Dat Rocking Hota - X0613373) is a super quiet, sane and sensible gelding. He is a FULL BROTHER to the grey gelding of Chayni Chamberlains that she won so much on at ERA events and The American. He is a solid 15.2hh with correct legs and decent feet (Clean recent X-rays available). The easiest going, most sensible character to ride around anywhere - I currently use him as a pony horse for my rodeo mount and young stock as well as running him at a few jackpots. Travels / Hauls great - he really is hassle free! I would feel safe putting most any level rider on him to ride in the pasture or around cattle. He is quiet, quiet, quiet! He is a nice head horse and would make a great practise or jackpot heading mount for someone. Runs to his spot and will rate back and give you a decent shot. Houdini was a WINNING 1D horse 4-5 yrs ago. I purchased him about 4 mths ago after he had not been ridden much for the past several years due to the family I purchased him from having children. He is currently fit and ready to go. He has been clocking top of 3D / Bottom of 2D times with me and I'm only coasting thru. He has served the exact purpose I purchased him for - travel companion and lead horse for my rodeo mount. Selling as I've another young horse to haul now. There is no reason this horse can't go back to his winning ways or just be a super quiet sensible mount for someone wanting to coast around. He is super well broke too! Houdini is reasonably priced at $5500 so please don't make any ridiculous offers.This is a genuinely quiet gelding and they are hard to find! NOTE: There are 2x You Tube videos here - one with him barrel racing and one ponying and basic roping. We didn't have a heeler for the roping so just turned the steer off and dragged one.
